Dr. Diaa Allahham is your American board certified orthodontist. He attained his dental degree in Egypt and pursued his lifelong dream of continuing his father’s legacy in orthodontics, becoming the fourth orthodontist in his family. 

Dr. Allahham successfully completed the preceptorship program in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health. He continued his education at the University of Rochester, where he earned a Master’s degree in Oral Science in Clinical and Translational Sciences and obtained his certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.

During his time at the University of Rochester, he received two awards for his Master’s project on Invisalign. He also achieved second place in The Northeastern Society of Orthodontists (NESO) and won the prestigious Dr. William Proffit Resident Scholar Award.

His research focused on the association between non-extraction clear aligner therapy and alveolar bone dehiscences and fenestrations in adults with mild to moderate crowding. He utilized Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) images in his study. His thesis was published in the top orthodontic journal, AJO-DO (American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics).

During his free time, Dr. Allahham enjoys playing ping pong, working out, kayaking, snorkeling, and spending time with family and friends.
